Requires the Correction of Age Deficiencies in Retirement
Aura Holdings is expanding its presence in southeast Queensland and taking advantage of the extensive development opportunities in the city centers.
Aura Holdings director and co-founder Tim Russell said their strategy of negotiating land reclassification to golf clubs and bowling clubs has been well received, but “it’s not for the faint of heart”.
He said it was a long process from start to finish with many hurdles, but he believed building the right type of development in the right place resonated with retirees.
“We saw a lot of opportunities, but we only launched sites that we really believe in,” said Russell.
“We don’t want to go into a dream field, that’s not our strategy.
“We deliver to areas that are undersupplied in mature suburbs at infill locations. We believe we are meeting real needs in the communities where we serve. “
Russell said there are developments at Aura Holdings in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, but he hoped to add four more to his portfolio over the next several years.
“We’re currently exploring about half a dozen opportunities in southeast Queensland. When our current developments are complete, we will have around 800 homes online, ”he said.
