No pause in calling NYU’s retirement plan regardless of SCOTUS curiosity

A second circle battle over the management of New York University’s pension plans is proceeding as planned, despite evidence that the US Supreme Court may take a similar case with Northwestern University.

The U.S. Second District Court of Appeals on Wednesday denied a motion by NYU plan participants to suspend their appeals while the Supreme Court weighs up whether to hear a case similarly challenging Northwestern’s retirement plan.
