Churchill Retirement Living encourages the folks of Penrith to hitch a socially distant backyard social gathering

The people of Penrith are invited to join the residents of retirement homes for a socially distant garden meeting.

Churchill Retirement Living at Dutton Lodge wants people to come together to have a drink for better times.

Visitors are offered a “treat box” and the opportunity to meet the Churchill team in the lodge’s attractive communal gardens, where they can learn more about the apartments and the lifestyle on offer.

Guests are welcome to bring a family member or friend, but it is important to book a time slot to ensure social distance. The events follow the current government guidelines for outdoor meetings, with all necessary safety and hygiene measures in place.

The event takes place on Wednesday.

Churchill Regional Marketing Manager Bernadette Hennelly said, “Traditionally, our garden parties have been the perfect opportunity for local people to experience firsthand the fun and social lifestyle of a brand new Churchill apartment.

“This year looks a little different, of course, and we have taken many steps to maintain our excellent track record of keeping everyone safe during the pandemic.

“The Churchill lifestyle is all about life in the moment. With spring it is finally time to awaken special memories again.

“With the lockdown rules lifted, we look forward to welcoming the local people to raise a glass for brighter days.”
